we're not, there's just no point in complaining about the same offensive problems we've always had.

Howard is not helping us at all

2 Goals Against. Teams are supposed to be able to win when they only allow 2 goals, especially when they dramatically out shoot the opposition.

Meh, there's no shootouts in the playoffs. But we need scoring to get into the playoffs. Howard's not the problem.

There is not just one problem. Howard is not the only problem, but if you don't see A problem with his play so far then you should start watching more closely or something.

You don't lose because your goalie let in 2 goals. He's got a .910 sv% and a 2.68 GAA. He needs to be better obviously but his numbers have taken a hit because of defensive breakdowns. You can win with goalie numbers like that. Howard's issues are pretty far down the list.

Can't believe that people are putting this loss all on Howard.

All on Howard?

Kenny went against his own law and dropped more than $4M into a goaltender. And why? Because our defense isn't what it used to be. That implies that Holland expected and is expecting Howard to compensate for the defense - not live and die with their blunders.

He's 5-5-5 and his GAA and SV% are hovering around 25th in the NHL. He is part of the problem.

Teams are also supposed to be able to count on their alleged bona fide starting goalies to make more than a key save or two and make a stop in the friggin shootout.

One of them which was his fault. You don't win in the shootout when your goalie lets in both shots he faces. And it's not just this game either. Howard has had one actual good game all year, the others have either been average or bad. There is a reason he ranks 27th in save percentage this season.

Howard should have been able to steal this game for us. Jets weren't giving him a hard time with only 21 shots. Winnipeg's 2nd goal was all on Howard. No clue wth he was doing there. Can't make a stop in the shootout...he has to be better if this team is going to be anything close to a cup contender.
