Stop and actually realize how trash this team has been. In case you haven’t noticed I’m usually 100 percent optimistic and actually ignore some of the really delusional posters here.

That said - the only reason we are where we’re at is strictly because of Larkin and the power play.

The team has shown nothing to allow you to be positive about the team. And I’m not talking about the future; I’m talking about right now they’re are embarrassingly bad all led by a shit coach. You want to imply I’m ‘stupid’… I’ll encourage it. However, you cannot justifiably sit there with your thumbs in a kerfuffle and say with a straight face that we’re better than maybe 28 other teams atm.

That IS tank tier. Three points out or not.

That said. I hope this team climbs back into it. But I see nothing to indicate otherwise. We’ve been ass since the preseason.

I mean I don't expect them to even win let alone rattle off 2 or 3 in a row for a playoff position, but who cares what I think. IF they did that I'd be pumped. I always hope they win. Hopefully they rattle off 10 in a row and myself, anyone else who's been critical looks foolish for freaking out early.

That being said... 4-2 Islanders. Red Wings are just legitimately, currently, playing like one of the worst teams in the NHL.
