The Jackets played last night, beat Pens 6-2, that means the Habs will be the team that looks like they played yesterday.

It's pretty crazy that Monahan is Columbus 1st line center.

Healthy Monahan is a great player.

There were risks in signing him long term because of age and health concerns. But if he can stay healthy and play well until 34, he's a bargain.

I would have given him a higher cap hit to decrease the term. Say 6.5 - 7M AAV over 3 - 4 years. But I'm happy not signing him this summer was good for the tank.

Sometimes, I wonder what it would be like to be Elvis, who shot his TV set every time he didn’t like what was on. And then, his handlers waiting in an adjoining room, would come in, removed the damaged TV and replaced it with a new one.

A Habs’s fan dream, to help make it through the season. 💀

Well maybe they could come back if they dont often give up goal 2 and 3 about 4 minutes later
 
too bad MSL has instilled a no hitting, no fight policy, maybe there would have been a scrap with Jackeye/Olivier. Remember the days this team had young kids full of piss and vinegar, hitting and scraps? Those were the days. Why do we have such a woke little loser coaching this team?
