A little worried about tonight due to the airport fiasco yesterday, but oh well. Go Blues!

Go Blues! Can't use the travel nightmare as an excuse. Good teams overcome stuff like that.

It's the Sharks, so we are bringing the "trap" back. Can't wait to hear the excuses from those guys tonight.

I would imagine that the travel stuff isn't going to have an impact on the game tonight. Tomorrow night is probably where we will feel that. Back-to-back this season is difficult enough without what little rhythm you have getting totally destroyed.

I'm much more worried about Wednesday. Fatigue will play a bigger factor in the Colorado game in the altitude, on a back to back, in their third time zone in two days, in a building we don't play well in.

But tonight? Against the heartless Sharks? Who are on a 7 game skid? With the Blues looking to re-establish home ice dominance after the "homestand from hell?"

Umm yea....bring out the zamboni.

Like someone else posted a little worried about the flight delay, but I believe in our boys ;) also SJ is in a slump right now.

Man this team got screwed. Get into STL at 6:30 am, play tonight against the Sharks, then immediately after fly to Denver and get in at 2 am to play the Avs tomorrow night. That's brutal.

I'll take any sort of win tonight. I don't care if it is sloppy or they don't play a full 60. They will be tired.

Hoping we win like 3-0 again though just so I can see Sharks fans complain about how boring we are even though we lead the league in goals and the Sharks have lost 7 straight.

Well yeah. If they didn't it would be an automatic loss.

I'm sure they slept a little in the hotel yesterday and last night and probably on the plane early this AM. It's not like they have been awake since the Game Sunday night.

The majority of Sharks fans don't blame the "trap" for our inability to beat you guys, we blame our coach for being unable to make any sort of adjustments to counter a system like yours that eats us alive. The Blues are now the new Red Wings, it's almost a guaranteed loss whenever the we play you.

Anyway good luck today guys, love your team. You're probably the only elite WC team that I could stomach winning the Cup at this point. :)

I'll be happy to come out of this game injury-free, every time the sharks are losing a game, OR in a slump, they look to hurt people...never fails. Blues need to stand up & play some rough & tumble hockey tonight.

another mental test for the boys, interesting to see if they can overcome these obvious issues
I don't want to hear anyone complain about the flight disaster, just get out and play 60 mins (oh well, maybe a few more) of hockey!

IMO tomorrow will even get tougher (the tiredness, not the oponent) and we can't lose all the momentum and lose both b2b games

let's go Blues!

We always seem to play SJ well, but I'm a little worried. I full expect them to come out flying and for us to come out flat. The first ten minutes are going to determine the outcome of this game. We have to weather the storm and come out tied or close. The defense is going to have to tighten up. Still too many chances we're giving up.

They were stranded in Van right? My buddy said something about a plane part. I think they will either be really pumped for tonight or they will be dead on their feet. I am more worried about tomorrow's game in Col.

I like San Jose, they have a good team, sooner or later they will snap their losing streak. Just hope it doesn't happen tonight.

Let's hope the Sharks wait until Friday against the Hawks to break their losing streak!

The travel thing, while definitely a hinderance, shouldn't be the difference between a win and loss. The Blues just better come out ready to play because the Sharks will be flying I'd bet. Hopefully they play at home more like the first two games rather than the previous homestand.
