I was just curious.... I thought Russian names had other spellings.

I didn't even think it was a typo, I thought it might be an alternate spelling.

Fun to watch. Love Marner some of the impressive stats. 9 of his 10 points are 5 x 5, in the NHL only Marchand and Patrick Kane have more. I love a player who is a strong 5 x 5 producer.

Of Marner’s 10 points, nine of them have come in that game state and only Patrick Kane (10) and Brad Marchand (11) have recorded more than Marner.

Perhaps even more impressive is the rate Marner has produced at. As it stands 140 forwards have logged at least 140 minutes at 5 v 5 and not one has averaged more points per 60 than Marner’s 3.42.

3.42 pts per 60, now that's impressive, esp for a kid.
 
I think the Kings roster is just starting to round into form, and it's only a matter of time before our skill players start scoring. I feel a hot streak coming on.

Tonight will be a good measuring stick against a Toronto team that's played well at home.
 
Wonder if Enroth regrets bailing for Toronto? He'd likely be getting a lot of starts here behind a better defense. He's sporting an .877, 3.90 and two losses so far this year.

This is a good match-up to get a nice win streak going. Hope they remember the 5-0 embarrassment on HNIC last time they were in T.O. and use that as fuel. Doughty took that one personally I think.

I forgot about that. This should be interesting. Looking forward to it.

I remember listening to Thorne and Clement on ESPN's National Hockey Night when I was a kid.
