The clock is ticking. Although if they fire him mid-season, I think one of the assistants will take an interim job (unless they send Burrows down for the rest of the year). Having worked with MSL, Burrows might have the Rocket play a similar style as the Habs to make calls up and send downs more seamless.

And they will look into it in the off-season to bring in a coach.

Ylonen is on fire. He's the shooter we need opposite to CC on the PP but you wouldn't blv it.

He's got to find a way to fix that if he wants to be a regular in the NHL. He has the skating, speed, shot to be an every day NHLer, he's going to get more looks for sure at some point but I think he still has a good bit of things to work on.

I think it's his physical implication that waivers and without his demon mode forechecking, he's invisible. Laval also has a very poor transition game, just like the big team currently, so that doesn't help.

Out of 32. So basically two of the worst teams in the league.

LV is a point behind Laval, but have 2 games in hand. So in terms of winning percentage, Phantoms are better than Rocket.

I'm not watching the game as I'm at work. But I see LV scored after Laval tied it.

To be fair to them, they wanted Slaf in Laval before the season started, when the expectation for Laval was much higher. I think now that we see how bad Laval is doing, Slaf is right where he needs to be.
