Joey said that he's 100% so I'm expecting a lot of hustle, solid 2-way game and zero floating.

ROFL - that has to be about the most expensive 4th line every assembled.

Honestly though, other than Jenner (our leading goal scorer) I don't really see much of an issue with the lines.

As far as pairings, Johnson with Savard gives me heartburn but I've become resigned to medicating while they are out there together.. ;p

Holtby has a GAA over 3 and a sv pct under .900 against the Jackets.

But Bob's career #'s against the Caps aren't much better.

Take the over.

I'd feel much better with Dubi-Joey-Wennberg up the middle. Does Torts really not want Bourque in the top 9? And once again this is an excellent opportunity to call up Kerby Rychel.

First-line center is playing with good players regardless, but is playing Dubi with Joey "sheltering" him?

Or is Torts just looking at new combos since Saad is now out?

The top 9 look fine, not sure why we care about Bourque. I don't mind our top line having two guys to take faceoffs. There was a game recently that Johansen got abused.

Really not sure what the obsession with Rychel is.

He's easily been one of the, if not THE best player on the Monsters so far. That could have something do with the "obsession". Not sure I'd call it obsessing over him though, fans just pointing out that an NHL ready prospect is being blocked by dead weight with hefty salaries.

I don't mind him marinating up in Cleveland though.

His performance in Cleveland is meaningless to me. He's not the first prospect that's been blocked, not a big deal. We love to talk about our prospect getting big minutes and yada yada yada. That happens and we're upset about it. I don't get our fan base.

Don't give us too much credit, bb. Nothing unique about us, you'll see the same reactions all over HF, whether it's the "over-marinating" in Detroit or "rush to the NHL" in Edmonton. Fans!

Maybe some folks just think Rychel in the lineup make the Jackets a better team? God forbid he ends up playing bottom 6 minutes, and if he ended up on the 4th line (doubt he'd end up there though), who knows? Maybe it'd even be effective and able to be played more than 8-10 mins a night?

It's much worse on the Detroit boards, I will tell you that...

Rychel only just turned 21, I don't think splitting time between Cleveland and Columbus this season is going to bad for him - this is pretty normal actually for a healthy organization.

Probably better he gets more minutes in Cleveland than bottom 6 time in Columbus.

I'm not saying either is wrong. I see both sides of the coin. All I know is that I couldn't be happier with the CBJ/Monsters affiliation. Its a win-win for Cleveland Jacket fans.

It's a shame Clarkson has an NMC. How happy would you be after we sent him down?
