San Jose has put Nick Petrecki on waivers, former first rounder, big hard hitting defense man from what I've heard. Don't know much about him but would he be worth picking up?
Could be a good try... But I guess we could be better off with Tinyrdi..

I don't watch the Habs as much as anyone else in this thread.. :sarcasm:

With that said; is Prust actually a good fit for that line? I understand the concept of creating space and getting the garbage goals; but that line could have been a heck of a lot better with a player that can keep up.

Am I completely off base?
No, you're completely right. Prust is really skilled and all, but he's killed many offensive opportunities because of the lack of offensive skill...

I hate Komisarek as much as the next gu.... oh right; Habs board... ha

He actually has not been bad for us this year; he's sitting because he's an idiot (immature at practice; leading to a pathetic injury).

And he was supposed to be our captain:laugh:

I love Habs games; no matter how either of our teams are performing before the game... it never matters. Both teams bring a layer of emotion to the game that is never matched elsewhere.

Until the end of time; the Habs and Leafs will always be a special matchup. Even if just for watching the intro videos and glory days.

Good game folks!

Actually, we'd all be happier if Leaf/Hab games mattered more. Alas they
haven't for a while now.
As to Komi. I've always seen him as a great team player. All his issues
are with ability. And maybe agility.

I would rather have a gritty veteran on that line than a speedy young guy. Prust leads and guides them and protects when necessary. You don't see liberties being taken with the rookies and that is the most important aspect.

Their effectiveness could be massively hindered if Galchenyuk was getting run and roughed up at every whistle.

Cannot comprehend this.......what is he skilled at exactly besides checking/fighting?

Yes. All this, and, effectiveness isn't the issue. Galchenyuk is in the
NHL this year primarily to learn. So he's playing sheltered minutes. We
can't afford to use a player that should have more reponsability in that
role.

Can't wait to get rid of this pathetic avatar of mine. Seems like we keep on losing since I changed it.

Please beat the Leafs today.

Oh, don't say such thing.. We have gone 3-2-1 since you have the avatar. Not the best of records, but not a horrible one either.

Look at the 3-1 record before you got it; who we faced: Toronto, Florida, Capitals and New Jersey.

Just say Hello Flyers :P

Max has to wake up tonight and score at least one goal.
I'm starting to be worried because honestly I don't think he had a real quality SOG yet this season.

Gotta thanks the Jets for beating the Sens this afternoon. Help the Habs in the standings if they win tonight

That said losing two games to the Leafs would suck so hopefully the boys come out to play tonight so that this doesn't happen. Go Habs Go !!!
