DUCKS (3-4-2) at KINGS (4-5-0)

Ducks team scope

Center Rickard Rakell will make his season debut following his re-signing with the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 14. Rakell, who also was rehabbing from offseason abdominal surgery, will center the third line with Antoine Vermette likely at left wing and Ryan Garbutt on right wing. Vermette, who has a 70.6 percent winning percentage on faceoffs this season, will take faceoffs. Rakell wanted to make his debut in a high-intensity game. "I've been waiting for this for a long time," Rakell said. "I'm real excited to play. [They are] always good games against L.A. I think it's going to be a physical and high-tempo game tonight." Center Michael Sgarbossa was reassigned to San Diego of the American Hockey League to make room for Rakell. Anaheim seeks to bounce back after a 4-0 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday in which they were outplayed in every phase of the game. "We move on from that, and our preparation is now using this as a game to say, 'Hey, that's not the hockey club we are,'" coach Randy Carlyle said. "We have a chance to make a statement for ourselves."

Kings team scope

The Los Angeles Kings are on a two-game scoreless drought after a 1-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday followed by a 3-0 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. Their last regulation goal was scored by right wing Tyler Tofoli at 1:41 of the third period Oct.27 against the Nashville Predators. The Kings have yet to win a game in regulation and have injuries throughout their lineup. Goalie Peter Budaj won four straight prior to the consecutive shutouts. He will make his seventh straight start since he was recalled Oct.13.

Not going to lie. Little disappointed we don't get to see Scuderi tonight.

Little chance of the Papa John's 50% off special after a Kings win tomorrow.

Question 1: Does Papa John's run the same special with the Ducks?

Question 2: Is 50% off pizza worth selling out and using the Ducks promo code?

This should be a good game.

what's the papa john's promo?

I have had to miss the last three king's (stupid loving family commitments) games so I am pumped to be able to watch tonight.

50% off the day after Kings win. They run an add in the first period I think.

more talk about papa John's pizza in here than about the kings

Game 10 into the season.

My prediction is a big game out of the 2nd line tonight.

Is there a way to see Darryl Sutter's press conferences? There not uploaded to the Kings website anymore...

Papa Johns is disgusting, Cruel. Dawdler, again my dude, thanks for the GDT.

**** the Ducks. **** their bro OC fans. But I will be nice to any incoming Ducks fan. Just know Ducks fans, most of your fan base drives raised trucks, listens to Papa Roach, and gets your ***** kicked by kings fans outside your arena.

Let's do this Kings.

Kent French and Hayward are the epitome of Ducks fans. Hayward got his ***** ass karma for trying to gloat to Foxie with his ring, now Foxie has two. Has there ever been a discussion with those two since then, referencing Hayward's self-entitled gloating? Has Foxie gloated, on air, to Hayward the way that dip **** was doing to Jimbo?

Also, Kent French has a punch me face. Thank the good Lord we get Patrick O'Neal and OD, I would want to blow my head off watching that dude (French) 82 games a year. Kent French, go lay down on a rail road track.

Ahlers is good, he is poisoned by the rest of the bro'd-out FSW2 crew.

I hate the Ducks more than any team in any sport. Philadelphia Eagles are a close second.

Scouts from Montreal, LA, TB, Chicago, Rangers and Las Vegas. Yes, Vegas baby, at Avs-Predators game

wonder who we would be scouting there

Whoever it is, we can't be dealing our draft picks. Those are off limits. Hopefully we can shore up some of these forwards we have on the bottom 6, but they're mostly plugs (sans King, Clifford).

I disagree with your calling Clifford a plug He is a ideal 4th liner who plays physical which is our team identity King however is a plug playing top 6 mins and not scoring since march 3

well king is a plug and hes top 6 this year so not fitting what ur saying :)

He's not a plug as a bottom 6, which was my original premise. Both Clifford or King are plugs in top 6 rolls. But very solid in the bottom 6. My point was, we have a log jam of plugs in the bottom 6, if DL can shore that up, all the better.

Clifford and King, when properly slotted, are very effective. Gabby will shore up the lines when he returns.

And Hayward, please jump off a mountain

And Hayward, please blow your head off with a 12 gauge.

Clifford has played maybe 2 periods in the top 6 all year Lets not compare his moving up for maybe 4 -5 shifts to King who has been there all year HUGEEEEEEEEEE difference. King is talked about as a bottom 6 player but in reality he plays more top 6 then bottom 6 When does his classification change Its been at least 3 maybe 4 years hes been more top 6 then bottom 6
