Yep. The Coyotes didn’t assemble an all-star drafting and development team so that they could make the right picks in the 1-2 spot. Doesn’t matter if you pick 4th if you make the right pick. And then again at 14th and then again at 31st and so on.

This is the same attitude I'm going in with, I could never cheer for my team to lose. If by some miracle they are still in playoff contention for the last 2 weeks of the season, I'm fine with that.

Yeah, but the previous wins doesn't count, so they can get two more now. Also, it isn't a "win" if they already have the best odds, so they can get the next five firsts (and might very well succeed in that.)
