Honestly shocked you watched the game.Absolutely amazing the difference in talent levels between these teams. Take Kap and Hughes off the ice and it’s a wash and the rest of the lineup is laughable comparing the Wild to the devs.
Hard to address playing with a $45M talent gap mid season unfortunatelySo did Hynes "address" the problem?
I’m guessing we might see him in a wild sweater in about 6 months
The biggest silver lining would be for Vancouver to pass us to avoid an embarrassing beat down from the Jets. I’m shocked how useless 15 and 41 have been. 15 doesn’t even finish his checks. Obviously really excited to be here. 41 is in close on pp but refuses to go to the net.Foligno nails a guy from behind so they put his cement hands with Boldy? Gus has been amazing.Silver linings;
- we got a point.
- Boldy made mistakes, but came up big when he had to.
- Gus
- Rossi turning invisible down the stretch has to be lowering his salary demands. No way he/his agent can argue that he has Boldy value.
- the trade BG made for that turd, Brazeau, will hopefully make him think twice before he does an impulse trade involving more valuable players.
Per Russo, we'll be seeing him in a Wild sweater most likely in game 82 on April 16th. He may be able to join sooner, but Denver would have to lose in the semifinals and it'd also take a heck of a turnaround on travel since that game is on the 10th and the Wild's next games are the 11th and 12th in Canada. Brock Faber did it a couple years ago, though, so maybe?I’m guessing we might see him in a wild sweater in about 6 months
And yes I realize Leipold has been wildly successful in his life. He is likely not a moron and I have no doubt he loves hockey. He just doesn’t know how to or care to actually win
Say what you will about Lamoriello today, in the 1990's he was popping off. He just about robbed teams for Albelin, Stevens, Niedermayer, Holik, and Brodeur.One major key to financial success ... marry a billionaire.
One major key to hockey success ... draft in the top five year after year, get the right player every time, rip off somebody for their top players, hire the right coach for the group, get some good bounces... profit.
Even the old dynasty Devils had to follow the "rip off" part of the script.
One point closer to the playoffs where almost anything can happen.

It didn't turn out in our favor, but it hasn't really turned out in the Bruins's favor either so far. We'll need to see what Khusnutdinov develops into to know if it was a robbery, because right now it looks like we got a bad 3rd line net-front guy that we're miscasting as a grinder, and they got a bad 4th line defensive forward that they're miscasting as a 2nd line scorer.We reverse robbed the bruins
