Sometimes you have to play through it but I will say this - we have not been hooked more in any game then we were tonight. Apparently, sticks in the mid-section that is usually a penalty every single time, just wasn't tonight, especially horrible in the first period.

Not really why we lost but very, very noticeable.

The Avs haven't gotten calls for weeks. No sure why but it happens almost every game. Tonight 96 gets his stick slashed out of his hands, no call, 2 mins later they call 29 on a trip, that has an obvious dive attached, both should have gone to the box, and Utah scores and the game is over.

Holy smokes how one-sided a game looks when you get scored on deflections and miss every prime opportunity to score when it matters. And the powerplay, yeah we know opponents have worked a way to make it completely useless. Just standing still and passing isnt gonna cut it.

It could have very well been 4-1 Avs win without deflections and converting own opportunities. Not too worried.

Lets just get back on the road where Avs actually find the net and we dont have listen "I cant believe it"...

I keep hearing the word JUICED.

Both Bednar and MacKinnon said the dressing room is juiced right now.

Kypreos on Tuesday said this team is juiced and ready to go on a heater of a run.

Rob Brown from Edmonton yesterday on Fan 590 that the team nobody wants to run into is Colorado now as their squad are juiced with the goaltending moves.
Seems like it was lime juice

Speaking of juice, I went to a supermarket today and was supposed to buy some juice and I forgot. From there my day was ruined and everything was gonna go wrong, and Avs losing tonight was inevitable

It's funny how different the quality can be. I've had meh brisket at really nice and expensive BBQ places, and conversely incredible brisket from a rural grocery chain deli counter in Texas
Brisket is the worst cut of meat on the whole cow. Tough as leather.

It's all in how you cook it.
I'm not even talking about Texas smoked BBQ or whatever. But that also counts as the key is to take your time with it. Roasted, smoked, boiled or brined. You can't rush it.
It's pretty much the only cut of beef I'll buy. Mostly because of the cost, but it's also adaptable to so many dishes and methods.
But yeah, if you're looking for something you can serve rare/blue, it's a horrible option.

As for the game, I went to bed midway through the 2nd. Just after Utah made it 3-0 on the PP. From what I saw it wasn't as grotesque a beating as the score might indicate. Some unlucky deflections, Colorado looking a bit flat but not outright bad. Nothing to really rail against or praise about this game.
I will say that it is nice to have Toews looking more like himself this last little while. He had a rough start, injuries notwithstanding.

Probably because Manson took out a ref. Call it the Wideman effect.

I like it corned with cabbage. I know there are good ways to make it.

I didn't think this game was bad like the Carolina game.

The team obviously didn't have it tonight, but it never felt like they were out it. Utah played a great game and Vejmelka had some big stops. Meanwhile, Wedgewood had such little chance on those first two goals it doesn't even feel fair that they count against his GAA.
