It's always nice to get 2 points.

There should have been a penalty for the wild right before the 4th goal of them. There was a clear tripping penalty on Goaldy.

Rossi had a rough night for 2 periods but he came back strong in the 3rd when it mattered. I guess that will give him more self confidence and some credit from the coaches.

Just checked the nhl website: Rossi didn't get an assist on that Johansson goal? He's passed the puck in front of the net. Should get an assist there imo.

Maybe Hynes shouldn’t put out his third pairing defense every PK. Besides both being terrible, Merrill and Bogosian have zero ability to retrieve loose pucks and thus, it’s difficult to get the puck out of the zone. It’s just reload and shoot for the PP. Combine that with not pressuring the puck at all and you have a recipe for a historically bad pK.

I do not want to blame the defensemen when there is literally no movement in front of them from the pk-forwards. This is a structural issue and therefore a coaching problem. The players just try to execute what the coaches ask them to do on the pk.

Impressive win. Good to see some depth scoring as well.
Johansson with a 3 point night, earning his TOI today. He had 20.47 and was +3.
Nice to see Knut get his first.
And Rossi is a diamond. Love that guy.

Somewhere in time
These points will be so valuable down the stretch. The Wild simply refused to go away. Pretty boring game through the first 30 minutes but it picked up the pace dramatically in the third. Glad for Marat to score, once you saw him on the breakaway you knew he wouldn't be caught. Strong finish too.

And it's garbage. Watch what teams do to us? Are they blind. It's getting insane.
