It's 3.5M, even better than you thought!I'm so glad he did it. Totally worth 4 millions to get one shot on goal every 8th game or so.

You really need to take of your Rossi homer glasses. I already explained to you why he was not on the ice on the PP and it makes sense if you think about it. Just let it go…he keeps playing well and shows consistency he will get the nod even in the last minutes of a game. Still so much hockey to play this season and in his Wild career. Where would he go if he got all the opportunities just gifted to him? He is not a veteran.
Edit: referring to Luceni
Bedard 4 goals in 23 gamesGGs.
Yet another game goes by watching the Hawks where Bedard is unnoticeable outside the PP.
Young players don’t get gifted time/ice. It always has been and always will be, unless they’re some generational talent. It has nothing to do with "Rossi homer glasses". When I see an unfair treatment of a player I'm gonna say it. If Ohgren or Heidt were in the same Situation like Rossi, I'd criticize Hynes too about his treatment of Ohgren/Heidt.
We're talking about an All-Rookie NHL'er here in his sophomore season, who has done everything they ask of him so far without hesitation. He worked his ass of the last couple offseasons and is currently on pace for 65-70 points. He is most likely the third best forward on the wild so far this season and still he is the one who will need to gain Hynes trust. Others can do what the hell they want, no messages/consequences/benching.
I thought if you have a young promising player you do everything to help him succeed and get more experienced. I don't have that feeling woth Hynes & the Front office. Instead, Rossi is mostly the one in the doghouse and we can read trade rumors from Russo about Rossi for months now.
I'm sure Rossi is gonna have a fine & long NHL career. I just don't see it with the Wild anymore. If I were in his place I'd not sign any offer they make. They have treated him just awfully the last 2 years. I'd be pissed.
If you are not a homer then your takes are just bad. Sorry but you need to understand what you are watching. Almost looks to me like you never played a competitive team sport. There are hierarchies within a team you do need to respect as a player and yes also as a coach. There are many of these small details that make a team successful we are not privy to.It has nothing to do with "Rossi homer glasses". When I see an unfair treatment of a player I'm gonna say it. Not sure if you're serious or just trolling. My personal life and experiences in competitive sports has no place here - just don't worry. But believe me when I say that I've head plenty of experience in competitive sports as a soccer player and leading teams vocational. I also watch the NHL for over 20 years now.If you are not a homer then your takes are just bad. Sorry but you need to understand what you are watching. There are also instances where you can question a player’s deployment - and I have been wondering the same at times this season - but this has changed quite a bit. I actually think Hynes has given Rossi more and more responsibility in games he has played well in. And as the sample size gets bigger so will his share of the pie.
I am also glad „you“ are not Rossi. Because with an attitude like you are proposing his professional NHL career would be quite short. Self entitlement would be a sure way off any roster in this league.
Who has Rossi mostly played with this season? Do you view that as a reward or a punishment? Not sure if you're serious or just trolling. If u can't see that the FO or Hynes are biased when it comes to Rossi, you're blind. For me it's obvious. It's the way they've treated him the past couple of years. You can read about it in my last 2 posts.
Rossi is no Rookie anymore. His play this season so far should earn more trust than they're willing to give him. How should he get experienced in close situations at the end of the game when he gets benched? Don't you think that the treatment he got the past couple of years should have hurt his self confidence?
The way I see it: There were so many situations in the past where I thought they want Rossi to fail. They made it harder for him to become the best player he could be. They've demoted him in the past while other players would have earned a demotion more than him - just to send a message to the team.
Rossi is the player he is now because he seems to have unbreakable dedication for the game. He didn't get much help from his coaches (Evason/Hynes) so far. If anyone says Rossi is the player he is now because of how the coaching / FO treats him: They couldn't be further away from the truth. Rossi is not the player he is today because of the coaches, but despite them!
If u don't see it that way then we just have to agree to disagree. I'm not mad about anyone who has got a different opinion but you won't change mine. I saw what happened on the ice the last two years and that are the facts I'm building on my argumentation in that case.
That’s such a ridiculous statement and there is simply no proof that is true in any way, shape or form. The facts you so diligently speak of actually lead to a completely different conclusion.Rossi is the player he is now because he seems to have unbreakable dedication for the game. He didn't get much help from his coaches (Evason/Hynes) so far. If anyone says Rossi is the player he is now because of how the coaching / FO treats him: They couldn't be further away from the truth.
