Vanecek was the Czech U18 goalie at the Hlinka and U18 tourneys this past season, so there's likely highlights and possibly full games on YouTube. For example, highlights from the U18's vs Canada:

It seems to be looking more and more like Vanecek is a bust. Disappointing numbers in the AHL last season, having played 32 games with a SV% of .888, and a GAA of 3.04. Was even in the ECHL for 2 games.
For people in the loop, is there much hope for this guy going forward? Wondering if those numbers are a product of bad defense on the end of the Caps farm team, or if he was left out to dry. What do you see in his future? And do you expect as many games next year in the AHL?
