Might be another good American goalie. Made some highlight worthy saves today that showed really good side to side movement. Anticipated plays well and seemed to be well positioned. Listed at 6’2. The goals he gave up today weren’t his fault and he was arguably player of the game. His SV% is like 20 points better than the other American goalie for the 17’s, so he’s already performing well.

I think Kempf in the fourth isn’t bad. I wasn’t okay with him in the discussion for one of the first goalies (the second round). Third round was also a little rich for me, but I think he has a chance to be a backup goalie and a decent chance to be a 3. He’ll probably play some NHL games without ever hitting 100 games. Goaltenders are hard to predict, but he’s a very okay goaltender. Doesn’t have the ceiling of an NHL starter, but should have a pro career in the A or Europe even if not the NHL.
