G Michal Pradel - Try City Storm, USHL (2025 DRAFT)

Little talk about this guy for being ranked one of the highest goalies for the draft. Hard to gage him statistically because he played all over the place both domestically and internationally. His USHL stats are nothing special but taken with a grain of salt.

I assume this is a physical projection - he's really tall and has that Hrabal-esque frame.

I assume he will go the NCAA route - thus far he is uncommitted, but this kind of ranking will surely make him a commodity for that level.

Are people concerned about him due to a goalie in a similar situation as Gajan?

I thought he had a very very good tournament, especially considering the qualify of chances he faced. The number of high danger chances he faced was through the roof. Slovakia gave up lots of slot chances and the PK was among the worst in the tourney. He has prototypical size, his stick handling needs to improve however. But as far as I know based on comments from people who are at the tournament he has had many nhl teams talk with him as well as ncaa teams.

I was very impressed by him. He had a very solid tournament. Inspires confidence.
