I was a bit confused as to why Langhamer was left in the dub as an overager this year (the last Euro goalie to play there), but I think it was a great move for his development. He's a huge post-draft riser. I don't consider him technically sound, he still has some issues that I think he'll have to continue to work on (he's taken huge steps in my mind this year), but he's got that flop and fight you like to see in really special goalies and it makes him a bit of an intriguing goalie prospect. Today's game against Red Deer, he showed tremendous composure, and you can tell from this series, and his WJC play against Canada--he's a big game goalie, and deserves a thread of his own.
I think he's a special player, and one we'll be hearing about in the desert.
