Seems there was a good chance he was never going to be picked as the Steel's overage goaler got injured and Cloutier was forced to come in and be the starter. Obviously did something during this time that caught the eye of the Avs since all the other Chicago goalers had <.900 save percentage.
 
Believe Sherbrooke holds his QMJHL rights. Is he still heading to Omaha or does he have plans to play junior hockey this year?

I had a Ron Mexico Michael Vick t-shirt...then the Pit Bull stuff came out and I couldn't consign that shit to Goodwill fast enough.

I learned not to jump on trends when it came to t-shirts after that. I just stick to bands and TV shows from the 80s and 90s now.

I saw a kid in a Deftones t-shirt earlier and having heard all their music over the years thought "Deftones would be a cool band for a shirt". Then I remembered that kid was 15, and it's because the new weird kids now like music with moans in it for TikTok.

Deftones really isn't as numetal as other numetal bands... but it is very weird to me that genre is having a resurgence.

Also... I've reached the level of internet that I can't see/hear/read Deftones without thinking of this immediately:

I miss the old T-Shirt+ chain. I know creating an iron-on shirts are probably easier today with modern PCs and printers filling in, but it was fun to flip through all of their funky designs as well as the branded stuff based on bands, arcade games (had both a centipede and defender shirt) and anything you could think of. I sort of remember getting jerseys for sports (soccer, basketball) as a younger kid there as well.
