Gustafson is 6’2
Dostal is 6’2
Saros is tiny
Sheshterkin is 6’1
This guy is very un likely to even be drafted, but saying you need to be 6’4 is just blatantly wrong.
I'll add a few more:
Bobrovsky - 6"2, two vezinas and a cup win.
Gustavsson - 6"2, posting one of the best sv% in the NHL this year.
Quick - 6"1, 800 NHL games, 2 cups, a Conn Smyth, back to back good seasons as a backup.
M-A Fleury - 6"2 over 1000 games, 3 cups and a vezina.
Binnington - 6"2, not having a good season but posted .913 last year, and carried a team to a cup win.
Wolf - 6"0 and could challenge with the calder. Firmly confirming as the starter in Calgary.
Ingram - 6"1, big step back due to personal circumstances with the death of his mom but posted back to back .907 SV% seasons.
Lindgren - 6"2, posted an amazing season last year, and still a top half backup.
Lankinen - 6"2, emerged as a starter for Vancouver this year after 2 solid seasons in Nashville.
Gibson - 6"2, look I don't think he's all that, but he's played almost 500 games in the league and is quietly posting a .909 sv% in league-wide low in sv%
Size doesn't matter if the goaltending is sound positionally, and has good athleticism.
That being said, the sample size is small, and Feldbergs seems to be slightly slow when it comes to lateral movements.
