13 games this season : 8-3-0-1 record | 2.18 gaa | .926 sv% | 29.8 shots on goal faced per game.
Played 1 game last season, allowed 4 goals on 11 shots.

Was never drafted to the WHL (at least i couldn't find info about that).

I know nothing of him, random goalie prospect, noticed him in tonight's game versus Winnipeg Ice,
Almost shut down all of their star players pointless; only Connor Geekie scored 1 assist
as the Hurricanes defeated Ice at Winnipeg 2-1.

last 2 games (back to back)...
2 x Losses, 10 goals against, .820 sv%

Young goalie, it happens, your team is playing shit front of you
effects your game, super difficult mentally.

Interesting to see how he bounces back from those 2 rough games

Showed this season that last season wasn't a fluke, much improvement for this season and it shows.
In stats too.

Has faced 32 shots per game this season

4-0-0 record
1.47 gaa
.953 sv%

Still 18 years old, didn't get drafted at his first draft

Only given the new W rating by Central scouting and playing behind a mostly rocksolid team but definitely a very good goalie. Decent size, highly mobile, clean technique and, most importantly, always incredibly calm and composed. Makes it look very easy. Goalies are always voodoo because the deciding factor is located between the ears but Meneghin definitely has NHL upside.

rock solid team?, i dunno about that.
(not that i have watched their games but statistics would suggest something else)

7 games / 12 where Harrison has faced 30+ pucks, 2 where he has faced 40+ pucks
is that rock solid? (that's almost 60%)

i think Hurricanes are a (pretty) shitty team this season
not a single top player there, but i suppose they are a team
that score as a unit, good coaching? possibly

Hurricanes are a 1 goalie team, 100%, their back up goalie has 10 total
games in the WHL, 5 in the regular season, 5 in the pre season,
he has been pulled 5 times... well.. he has w-l record from just 5 games.

Not sure how many wins they'd have this season without Meneghin,.. not many

I don't know. You can think what you want about Bill Peters coaching kids but he sure knows how to make a team play the right way. Granted, I'm only getting more Lethbridge viewings since my countryman joined the team but even just judging by the names, Lethbridge may be lacking high end skill on both offense but they do have a lot of depth, quality two way players and quite a few experienced players as well. For example, their overager forward is regularly playing 3rd line.

Lethbridge, as all junior teams, does have down phases when they're dominated completely and that's when a goalie like Meneghin comes in handy. Overall though, Lethbridge skaters are excellent at boxing out, defending the slot, preventing high danger chances. There may be goalies getting more goal support but Meneghin does have one of the easier jobs in terms of high danger chances. At least that's the feeling I have. Not to take anything away from Meneghin but even Lethbridges youngest players are very solid. Will Sharpe might actually be the team's best defenseman already. Should get more ice time over the season because his breakouts are superb and he's excellent against the puck. Stopped a few odd man rushes on his own just in the few games I watched. Kash Andresen is a gritty two way forward as well.

Another 1st star selection.. 28/30

Ive lost count how many he has already gotten.. but i think its 8th
he has at least 2 other top 3 player selections

in 16 games this season, he has gotten more than 10 x top 3 player selections

Great numbers so far this season. I wonder if he's starting to get World jr consideration.
If you look at the Management group, he'll be on the roster anyway. Should be the starter as well.

I don't think there's currently another eligible goalie with Canadian passport on his level. Started 22 of 26 games and I think he actually finished all of them. Played several back to backs, even on the road. Even on his bad nights, the only thing that's off is his rebound control. Big, athletic goalie that does not falter or give up soft goals no matter the workload.

Tried looking for articles about him but couldn't find much - other than him attending the Wild development and rookie camps this summer.

Seems to have the prototypical size for an NHL goaltender.

Why the hesitance to draft him last summer and why is he not receiving more acclaim this season?

I don't know but if he continues to play this way he's definitely gonna get drafted. You don't often see young goalies being this consistent under such a workload. He's big and athletic as well. Feels like he really made another step over the summer.

Happens all the time. He hasn't played for any U-whatever teams for Canada, which keeps him off scouts radar. He also plays in Lethbridge which is a bit of an outpost.

Milic was not drafted until he made the WJC, even though he had been excellent in the Dub for a few years.

He literally came out of nowhere. Undrafted in the WHL. Was signed to be the 3rd goalie. Stole everyone's job and was the starter by the 2nd half of the year. However he wasn't lights out in the playoffs.

If I had to guess the NHL scouts didn't really have a book on him considering he started gaining traction late last year. Hard to make a call on a guy you would only see less than a handful of times throughout the second half of the year.
