Kid was featured in a recent issue of The Hockey News and has put up good numbers for Shattuck St. Mary's. Does anyone know anything more about him and how he projects in the future?

Only thing I know is his statement after being drafted in the US WHL draft made it seem like he's a heavy lean for the WHL route. He really leaned into it even if I wouldn't put much stock into the excitement, especially if/when the NTDP comes calling.

He got the start in the NTDP season opener and stopped 34/35 before giving way to Patrick Quinlan.

He's probably the highest pedigree goalie to enter the program since Commesso or Knight. He's already 6'1 and really young as a December birthdate. Who knows with goalies but hopefully he pans out as the NTDP goalie development is so hit or miss.

He's decent. I have little doubt he'll be talked about as one of the top 5 goalies in the 2026 draft. OTOH, one of the other goalies has a better SV%, so something to watch for if he can grab the starting job over the next two years.

He does some good things in net. Moves well with the puck, both his mind and side to side, and at 6'1 he doesn't have bad size. He's young for a 2007 born, so he could grow taller. He's a 2026 draft eligible.

More than anything it's going to depend on the rate he stops the puck. If he does so at one of the higher rates among recent NTDP goaltenders and grows to 6'2 or taller, he could be a first rounder. Or he could be a fifth rounder. Impossible to know at this point.

Watching more of him this season, I think he's a reliable goaltender, but there's a lack of wow factor with him. He's well positioned, not a lot of athletic saves. He's not lacking athleticism, but I don't think he's as explosive with his saves as Quinlan.

I think the late birthday probably helped his early hype. He's good and belongs at the NTDP. I think there's a high chance he'll be drafted. Probably like a 3rd or 4th rounder is what I'd say right now. If he grows to a few inches, potentially a round or two earlier.

6'1 174 to 6'2 186 in the preseason measurements. The added size can't hurt. Already has NHL average size for a goalie (a little lacking in weight, but that should come eventually). Not draft eligible until 2026. Could put himself into the spotlight as an early mid/round possibility for 2026 with a good season this year.
