G Dustin Wolf (2019, 214th, CGY)

Wolf had posted a 93.6 SV% through his first three games and is passing the eye test.

What kind of SV, GAA, and GP would Wolf need to put up this season to be a Calder candidate or even possibly Vezina? (let me dream about the Vezina)

He would need to take over the starter role

Ullmark won the Vezina with less than 50 starts. Wolf looks like he'll be starting around 40, maybe a few more, which could definitely be enough for the Calder assuming his numbers are really good.

Wolf is better than Vladar, so he should get enough work.

I know he's regarded as a Calder Dark horse, but I'm still surprised about how little talk there is about him. Looking great to start this season and the stats back it up.

If he continues his play I wouldn't be surprised to see Vladar traded and then Wolfie will be pushing 50+ starts for the year easily. He's looking elite already. Depends on how the team does if he gets Calder votes or not, if the Flames collapse his numbers will plummet and he'll be out of the already non-existent conversation.

I really want the FLames to draft a high end centre this year or next...

Pretty much this. Everyone is waiting for everything about Flames to collapse inevitably.

And the collapse might have started already, 4 or more goals allowed in the last 3 games, Sv% below .910 (which is still good but trending downwards fast) and the Flames are out of the playoff spot for what might be the first time this season?

Michkov and Celebrini get the hype but this kid is the real deal, I wonder if they’ll try to get him signed to a team friendly contract long-term quickly , it’s kinda rare to see an NHL rookie goalie do so well so fast, very interesting.

He stopped getting all the home games. I don't know how or why but the team is significantly better on home ice.

Never seen such a disparity, like watching two different teams.

Have coaches started telling their players to shoot high yet
Lol

As if the best hockey players in the world don’t know to shoot high. Even if he’s huge, hockey players are taught to shoot for the ears.

Wolf Is SmAlL sHoOt HiGh

You should be working for an NHL team
