Is he 5'10 as his EP page lists?

I'm sure he's very good, but how many sub 6'0 goalies are there anymore? Sukhachyov was a top 2 round talent for the 2016 draft, didn't even get drafted because he was 5'10. Saros was a later round pick. Even if he's like 6'1 or 6'2 by the draft, that'll be tall enough to be a high pick. I can't remember any goalies shorter than 6'0 going in the first two rounds in any recent draft.

He's definitely grown. Silvertips camp listed him at 5'11 but having seen him live a couple times I can definitely say he's closer to 6'0.

He was a very highly touted goalie going into his WHL draft but told everyone that he was going to US National team program and play NCAA... Everett ended up taking a chance on him in the 5th round and it has paid off. I saw him play the other day and he was unbelievable. Its a great situation once Hart returns so Wolf can be mentored by Hart and then take over the #1 role next season when Hart is gone

Taking over the reigns as Everett's starter during Hart's tenure at the WJC. 3 games in 3 nights, going 2-1 and posting a shutout. Made some real nice stops in each match.

Currently holds at a 5-2 record on the season with a .942 sv % and 2.00 GAA

Appreciate the updates as I rarely (never) get to see this guy play. Good sign if he puts the team on his back while Hart is gone.

Posted a 24 save shutout against the Vancouver Giants. Made two nice saves, one on Ty Ronning and one of James Malm. Also picked up another assist. So that's 3 points, 2 shutouts, and .947 save % from a 16 year old goalie. Absolutely insane.

Its deja vu from when Hart came in and played unreal as a 16 year old a few years back. Unsure how Everett struck gold again but they did!

His puck handling ability is something to behold. It's not like his 3 assists are just accidental when he leaves the puck for a defenseman or something, all 3 of them were long-ice passes to set up odd-man rushes or breakaways.

Think he could go in the first round?

No chance. Unless he quickly gains ~3" of height no NHL team is going to take him in the first round. Teams are so gun shy of taking shorter goalies that Wolf probably won't get taken until the 3rd round like DiPietro back in 2016. The only goalies that will be taken in the 1st round are those with pro-sized frames and fit into the Samsonov/Knight style of play.

Exactly. He has enough talent, but his size will make him drop, no question about it.

similar to saros in height?
Elite prospects has him at 6'0, but only 160 lbs.

Could still see him growing an inch or two but most likely has a small frame.

It just seems like its too risky to pick a goalie in the first round. You never really know how they will turn out. For every Vas theres a Subban or Jack Campbell. Oettinger, who has everything you want in a goalie and killed it in the NCAA his draft year, is now struggling.

I could see him going in the 2-3 range. I think if any goalie has a chance at going in the first it's definitely Knight, but this draft is shaping up to be a good one so even that might be a stretch.

Is he just a goalie who plays front of a great team
or is he any good?, good stats though...

Record: 29-9-1-0 | 1.82 GAA | .932 sv% (25.5 shots faced per game) | 5 SO
(last season: 14-6-0-0 | 2.25 GAA | .928 sv% (30.0 shots faced per game) | 4 SO

Why is there no hype for this kid? His stats look amazing.

Im am enjoying how entertaining it is to watch how little hype there is with this kid in here. He is a deadly prospect yet nobody seems to know.

The amount this is reminding me of Carter Hart talk on this site is crazy to me. Same junior team and VERY little to no discussion about him leading into his draft. Then ofcourse after he is drafted and is the best goalie in the WHL next season, everyone will all of a sudden say that they had always wished their team would have drafted him and blah blah blah lol.

Trust me though, NHL teams are watching him extremely close... Where Everett goes, a pile of NHL scouts follow
