VENGEANCE

'Tis Tuesday. Season marches on and so must we. Two days ago, invasion force from the Swamp known as Florida has attacked us, which we have short circuited and vanquished.

NOW IT IS OUR TURN TO STRIKE BACK

Make no mistake, we might have come through in our first three encounters, but complacency leads only to ruin.

ASK YOURSELF: IS THIS ENOUGH? IS THIS TRULY VENGEANCE?

NOT BY A LONGSHOT. PATH OF VENGEACE IS LONG AND ARDUOUS. IT IS A ROAD BESET BY THORNS AND ROCKS SHARPER THAN A STILETTO. IT IS A JOURNEY FULL OF SUFFERING AND PAIN.

But it's the right path and at the end of it is NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS THAN VICTORY AND VINDICATION. And sure as hell those ain't free. Because nothing of value is ever given to you, if you don't give back.

BUT TODAY WE ARE NOT HERE TO GIVE. WE ARE HERE TO TAKE VENGEANCE.

AND TAKE VENGEANCE WE SHALL. IN THIS GAME OR ANOTHER.

Still not crazy about the make-up of the lines. Roddy is still looking for chemistry, which is good, I guess. We can't keep counting on the power play. Any top six with McGinn is shaky to start with. I know we're all fascinated with the speed of that third line, but there's no real play-driver there, and they're a tire fire in their own end, so I will temper my enthusiasm. There's simply *got* to be a better way to put together our top nine.

Seems like Necas has been pretty good at driving play there. I agree on the issues in their own end, however.

I would not call any line that is part of an overall group that held TAMPA to 13 shots on goal a "tire-fire" line in any way. Maybe below-average defensively relative to the rest of our lines, but not a tire-fire.

I might look at Svech on the right on the Staal line, Dzingle on the other wing, and McGinn as the LW with Haula and Marty. Something has to click to get the top 6 scoring though.

I mean, Svech and Teuvo have been piling up the assists and Nino and Aho have been driving play and hogging the puck like they always have, it just hasn't yet translated to goals. They will come, we need to be patient.
