Long post. Mods delete or adjust (or PM me) if you don't like it for any reason, or it goes against rules. I couldn't see any reason it would, though.
Thought this might be fun to do for you guys, I enjoyed it. You can sign up on the website easily (and see percentages of players selected thus far), there's about a day left. Not sure if having a Quebec postal code is required. Probably at least a Canadian one. Though I imagine you can just pick whatever postal code you want and participate for fun without necessarily standing a chance to win anything physical. You can still do the ranking/competitive part. They email you each time a "round" starts or something. It changes a bit each year so I'm not 100% sure how this year will go yet.
If there's no interest feel free to delete!
Set-up is in French but I'll gladly help if I see interest before the cutoff tomorrow.
Under "Grand Pool RDS" to the right of the cell phone, you select the right button that says "Inscris-toi dès maintenant" which just means "subscribe now". Courriel = email. Prénom = first name. Nom = last name. Mot de passe = password. Confirm it. Code Postal = Obvious! Sexe = Homme is man, Femme is woman. Don't check the boxes.
Just know that it's really based on points/stats regardless of title so you don't need to translate those. There are 25 selections to make and once done you can create and join groups, too, to compete with friends. We can have a HFNYR one if enough people care. But I'm a bit last minute. Takes a few minutes to setup and then you choose!

Yes, 1% on Hank and Rangers. Fun fact, Quebecers/Habs fans in general hate the Rangers. They have since before The Kreider Incident™ due to, as far as I can tell, the pre-cap era (which is super hypocritical for obvious reasons if you know hockey history but whatever) and other random factors. Recently it's very much still the Kreider Incident™ and then defying the logic of "we only beat them because we took out Price" when we won again in last years' playoffs. In general they still hate Boston, Toronto, Ottawa and Philly more than us, but a LOT of them hate us now. But they're also a really awesome group of people in person, too. I play EA NHL with a lot of local friends and we give each other shit all the time. I'll hang a Rangers' jersey, or put out a Kreider card etc.
Not trying to start anything. I really just wanna share this fun pool. As some may know, I live near Montreal (Candiac, where quite a few players live, like Price, Weber, Shaw etc) and have for many years. My mom is French Canadian, my gf is (and had a Price poster in her room when I met her - she's all Rangers now though!) and her parents and my own local family and friends are die hard Habs' fans. I'm well in tune with how things are and despite some crazy forum posters, the vast majority of people you'll encounter in Montreal and area are very cool and open to fun discussion. Kreider hate is real but usually still easily mentioned. I don't AT ALL dislike Habs' fans. Literally all of my friends here are just that. Gf's parents (in-laws, really... been together 9 years) etc.
