Unless you’re being duct taped to a wing, this isn’t exciting news.
He smelled like malborro cigarettes, four shots of everclear .... and REGRET!
According to that news story, the guy interviewed wasn't an on-duty flight attendant; he was deadheading between routes (not clear if he was a Frontier employee but sitting in the jumpseat he probably was). So I reckon he might-could be considered a "passenger" on the flight as it regards his employment risks when "attending" to that ass whoopin'.We are forcing US attendants, to attend to passengers, while being security guards but knowing that if they even touch a passenger, they may lose their jobs.
God forbid you get a setting where they do nothing, vs take that risk.
I mean, I'd even consider getting 3-4 armed security guards per flight, on some "look what you did--your tickets have now gone up 10% for the expense"

It all makes me wonder what air marshals make in salary & benefits, and whether Congress should be considering funding for a hiring push.
we all know the passenger will attempt to sue the airline
