Freidman was on the fan today and it doesn't sound like Jack will be back Freidman said they were very far apart that the Leafs Inital offer was 3 years at around 2.75 million per year.

This report makes me so happy, low ball the shit out of Campbell because if he takes it then he's a backup making backup money

if you piss him off then you can go out and get a real #1 and hopefully a real backup to, because you can't bring him back he's to injury prone and when he did play he sucked, you need to trade him or LTIR him or something but you need to use that money elsewhere.

but Back to Campbell it doesn't sound like he's back and that's a good thing we need better than a 3.15 GAA and 897 save% come playoff time.

We need a guy that can close when he gets the chance, he had 3 cracks it against Montreal and 2 against Tampa and couldn't get it done.

Its sure if he want to go somewhere else to have a chance to win, leafs should be agressive on him no doubt about it. Hes 1 of 5 best goalie in the NHL but still a IF

In my opinion, for Campbell, with his small track record....4.5 mil should get it done all day long. Campbell trying to do us a solid would look something like 4mil per x 4 years. Hope a little extra commitment from our side gets it done. I'd even go as high as 5 years, as that still only brings Soupy to 35 when his contract ends, which is fine for a goalie. Mrazek needs shipped out of town as early as possible, but I'm sure management knows that

I don’t personally see that it would cost a first. Mrazek is 2 x 3.8 not 5 x 5 he is only 30 and has had plenty of success. He wasn’t who I wanted last year but it’s not like he is an 8 year anchor.

A rebuilding. Team could absolutely use hun. I don’t expect much value. But I don’t think it’s a first.
