Hank wants to play and Washington gives him the best chance to do that. There may not be that many teams even offering a contract. There are lots of other goalie options out there.

Of all the teams in the metro, him being on Washington is one of the ones I mind the least. Devils, Islanders, Pens or Flyers would be way worse.

Yeah I'd obviously prefer him out of the division but of our main rivals Washington is probably the least offensive to me. Maybe bc I like Ovie and we beat them a bunch in the playoffs.

Worst in order (for me) would be:

Islanders -> Devils -> Flyers -> Penguins -> Washington.
