Only problem with that scenario (trading Zub) is that they’ll be looking to add another RD if they think Yakemchuk is not ready. And, RDs can be hard to find, especially if you’re looking for a good RD that somehow would accept a short contract.I’m guessing that because he’s 29, Zub will be looking for more than a short term deal. It’ll be his last chance to cash in.
With his injury problems, mediocre play recently, and Yakemchuk coming, I think they’ll steer clear.
It would be interesting to put him with Stutzle. He has a 15-team no-trade list though and is born in the U.S.What do you think the Rangers would want for Kreider?

Kreider doesn't really throw the body around that much. He has 24 hits in 19 games this year.Lol Kreider and Tkachuk on the same top 6 would set the NHL record for hits

I also don’t think they’d put Kreider on the same line with Tkachuk either. Kreider seems to play more with players like Panarin (trusting my memory here) & Stutzle.Kreider doesn't really throw the body around that much. He has 24 hits in 19 games this year.
He might be slowing down but over the last 3 years/180 games, he's had 251 hits. He hit more when he was younger, but makes sensefor him to decline in that stat but would be funny if his hitting bug reignites if playing with Tkachuk.Kreider doesn't really throw the body around that much.
