I bleed rangers as most of you do if Kakko thing is true I have never in my lifetime and I'm 46 seen so many kids disgruntled and just almost not want to be rangers going bk to lias Kravy Kakko and while lias seems to suck again we are miscasting and not developing these dudes right. Kakko can't be on the 3rd line. A rebuild when you luck out and get pick 1 and two consecutive you let these kids play then plug in around them where help is needed to bring them along even faster you don't stick them on 3rd line no pp time no anything time can't gone skills can get confidence which is huge thing in hockey and most sports. Look where these dudes taken and we still don't know bust or no bust because we have not much to base it off of. That's why I said Ottawa may be doing it better than us as far as being there forwards along.

Kakko was in the top 6 all of last year

C'mon Chuck Fletcher, you know you want to deal a 1st+JVR to sign Gaudreau to a $10MX7 deal.

If Trocheck had signed for five years I don't think you'd hear many complaints at all. I'm not saying it's a bad signing, but the term is I think was most people were disappointed with.

Yep. Trocheck addresses a lot of things this team needs and absolutely makes the Rangers better for this season. But I just keep getting hung up on the lack of flexibility for this team in terms of the roster and cap for future years as well as the pending extensions necessary for the younger group. I really hope the cap shoots up once the escrow is paid off and I also hope there's no heavy NMC/NTC on the Trocheck contract.

Also doesn't help that it took 2 pretty decent picks to dump Nemeth's 2.5 for 2 years so God only knows what moving a contract like Goodrow's might take in the future.

They can afford a lot if they can get another team to retain. I just think the logjam of wingers/defense still needs to work itself out. Its also fishy that he's still unsigned. We'll see what happens

I mean not that i want them to do this at all bc i really like kakko and want him here..

But people thinking that Kakko + Nils together couldnt get us a pretty good return are out to lunch

This

And monetize Niles Lundkvist. No place for him to play here.

He can play in Hartford? This entitlement of getting picks on the team quickly is something. He was pick 28. In his draft pick 24,25,33,34,36,37 have played 0 NHL games. Pick 31 has played one game. Pick 26,27, and 35 have all played under 25 games. Only picks 29/30/32 have played over 50 games. He does not have to be on the team yet and if he's not it doesn't mean he's a bust.

Im not a fan of the length either but if thats what it took to improve for the next 4 or 5 years then so be it, worry about the last couple when it happens

If the Rangers want a player like this, you sign him if you truly believe you can win a Cup within the next three-four years. Again, these are things Twitter finger GMs do not understand. Or you can be like Lou Lam and miss out on everybody because you don't want to pony up, along with Carolina. They've been close for years but they don't sign guys because they don't want to commit. DeAngelo, Trocheck, Nino, etc. Burns at 37?

It’s a very good AHL salary.

Very good day for Vinni Lettieri. Got the Kitty City raised cat food bowl on Amazon Prime for $4.88, saving himself $3.11, and now gets a lucrative two-way deal with the Boston Bruins.
