What do Leafs fans think his value is at? Is he a definite part of their future plans? Can he be had?

Can be had.
He's in the mix tight now, but we have a number of prospects that will likely surpass him within a year or 2.

Value is hard to say on him.

B prospect?

Waiver fodder. Only a team with major injuries to their D would consider picking him up.

I don't think he'd clear waivers. He's an RHD with good analytics; someone would pick him up.

Agreed. He's a fine 6-7D, and that has value. Probably not enough to pay for him or sell him, but there is value.

OP: Unfortunately, Frankie grew up and now goes by Frank Corrado.

I think the Leafs will keep him. He has value to us as a 4/5/6 type defenseman going forward and as a rotation guy right now. Maybe he's thrown in for some extra value in a bigger deal, but on his own I doubt he possesses a ton of value.

As soon as Polak is traded, he's probably a mainstay on the bottom pairing for us.

He's a good young player; however he doesn't seem to be in our plans. Don't think he holds much value though, probably more likely to be a waiver candidate.

I like Frankie, but I don't think he has much if any trade value.

Throw a late round pick at the Leafs, or wait for the (probably) inevitable waivers.

Had a great preseason! I think his value will go up this year if he's given the chance but not worth a whole lot now. Agree with the 3rd.

Marincin is who I assume the leafs will trade first.

Rielly-Zaitsev
Gardiner-Polak
Hunwick-carick
Corrado

That's how I kind of see it playing out then trading Polak at some point and giving Corrado his full time and probably last chance

He looked alright in preseason and he'll probably get a good chance to play now that Hunwick is probably out for a while, should up his value a bit.

Hate to be smiling when a player gets injured but Hunwick has been terrible...and Babs seems to have blinders on where he is concerned

Hmm, we're weak on the right side... we'd package him to try and upgrade our right side, if anything. There isn't much out there atm though :(.
