Pierre-Édouard Bellemare sera au Mondial avec l'équipe de France

Sauf problème de dernière minute, Pierre-Édouard Bellemare, qui joue en NHL depuis 10 ans, fera partie de l'équipe de France au prochain Mondial en mai. Il n'a plus porté le maillot des Bleus depuis deux saisons et son dernier Mondial remonte à 2017.

L'équipe de France pourrait être contrainte de se passer de Kévin Spinozzi au prochain Championnat du monde en mai. Le défenseur de Bordeaux, Canadien de naissance, n'a toujours pas reçu son passeport français.

He is. Bringing in Keller and Neckar was mainly to give them a first taste of the senior team. Junca/Ylönen/Papillon will be the trio bar injuries.

Bellemare, Da Costa and Junca join the group. Nice to see Keller, Dair and Simonsen still around.



Papillon has been given some time to rest after the Ligue Magnus finals. Texier will very likely not be on the final roster due insurance issues as his contract with Columbus is ending.

Only missed the 2014 WC and the 2020 and 2021 ones due France being relegated and D1A being cancelled because the pandemic.

thoughts on T. Bozon after first 2 games? had nice season in Lausanne, especially in terms of goalscoring. Expected him to score a few goals. Its sorely missing with Fabre absence and rather poor showing from Bertrand (i only checked stats from DEL tho, not very inspiring for a proven goalscorer - 5G in 50GP or something like this)
