So far looks like Leafs made some good decisions not bringing back these players from last season.
Blackhawks looking like they really messed up with that Bertuzzi contract.

Very small sample size but for Bertuzzi specifically you don’t need any sample size to know that contract isn’t worth it. Quite honestly on of the worst IQs I’ve seen from a player that has sufficient skills to make it by. He’s like a 3 mill player max

Lub and Edmundson are paid pretty well to be #4/5 guys. I feel like we are much better off with OEL, Hakanpaa, and Myers for less combined dollars.

We are also ridiculously better off with Tanev over Brodie and Giordano.

I agree that Gregor is just depth. Can Pacioretty give us have of what Bertuzzi did at a quarter of the cost? Stolarz seems a hell of a lot better than Sammy.

We don't miss any of the departures and replaced them all with better players and fit for less or equal cost.

I agree with you, I don’t think we will miss any of them.
My point was more who cares they are just depth players

Look, I'm very happy with the Leafs goalie situation......getting Stolarz was a brilliant move. I'm just posting this because I like the guy and I'm cheering for him.
