Former Los Ahgeles Kings legend Dave Taylor came ever so close to winning the Stanley Cup back in 1993, when the Wayne Gretzky-led Kings made it to the Stanley Cup Final, only to be defeated by the Montreal Canadiens in five games.
But last June, as Vice President, Hockey Operations for the St. Louis Blues, Taylor became a Stanley Cup Champion after 42 years in professional hockey.
This summer has been a whirlwind of activity for Taylor, from the on-ice celebration after the Blues won the Cup, to the dressing room celebration, not to mention his day with the Stanley Cup.
What was all that like for him and his family? Where did he have his day with the Cup and what he do there?
