I wish the best of success to Mike Richards and Jarret Stoll, who has a PTO with Columbus. They'll always be Kings to me (though there was no doubt in my mind that they had to move on after their incidents.)

Still, it's hard to see them keep playing and trying to catch on with teams after their games have declined so sharply. I'd rather remember them as effective and key members of our winning teams.

I agree!

Yea that's a little hard to take. But then again it's unsurprising as neither of them had a game that was based on their physical skills. Even when Richards was churning out points he was never close to the most skilled guy out there. Both of them just had that attitude where they would completely give everything for their teammates, sell out their body, or whatever it took to get that edge. Both were inspirational, borderline dirty on the ice, and generally a pain to play against. When you do that year after year it catches up to you quickly, which is why they both fell off so fast.

I honestly don't even follow them because this very reason - they are shells of what they were and it is definitely hard to watch. I still have a gut feeling that Stoll will end up back with the Kings in some capacity.
