Man, this is going to be long and ugly. You can bet that every one of those players will hire the most expensive lawyer they can and plead not guilty, just as Formenton will...
It's also if he's found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt not whether he's guilty or not. A not guilty verdict doesn't mean it didn't happen. There's lots of cases like this where it just can't be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Doesn't mean people are innocent or that incidents didn't occur.

Jian Ghomeshi was found not guilty, but the trial demonstrated that he was beyond a shadow of a doubt a huge creep. As a result, his media career in Canada was over.
Speaking of that case, it was estimated that Ghomeshi spent somewhere in the $400,000 range on his legal fees when it was all said and done. High priced criminal lawyers don`t work for free - this is going to be a very expensive process for all of them as well.

If you want to be heard. SCREAM this from the rooftops. I don't want to hear what ifs and speculation... This is what matters to us as a society. Remember when you want to judge or speculate on his actions. We have no idea what part he played and what actually went on in the early hours of the morning.

curious how long it takes for these contracts to be terminated once all the names are released. Can teams just terminate contracts for players being charged with a crime? Seems like they would have to be found guilty first. I think it's all a moot point anyway - as long as the accused...
