It used to be worse.
You could even win with a field goal. This is their "solution" to those rules.

I hope Matthews shows up for the playoffs the way Josh Allen did. Josh is a monster. You guys have a lot to look forward to.

It really was unbelievable. As a a fan of neither team that was so fun to watch.
I still think both teams should get the ball in ot though. Coin flip was the real winning score

Chefs have some dangerous returners, so the Bills could have been burned doing that as well.

With 13 secs left Buffalo was giving 20 yard open plays. Zero defence. Mahomes as great as he is had guys wide open to throw to. Unbelievable.
Fire the DC now. That was embarrassing.
I got no skin in the game. My team are the Niners. But I do hate the Chiefs with a passion.
Felt bad for Allen. Kid deserved a better coin toss.

Not on a squib, IMO. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it. You have to like your chances better there than against Mahomes

I've seen the ball pitched back on a squib, and they probably would have done that knowing how detailed Andy Reid is. Plus you're never sure where the ball is going to bounce on a squib. It could go out of bounds if the kicker screws it up, which would mean first down at the 40.

I think Romo had it right: Buffalo should've done a regular kickoff but short so that it had to be returned. As a Chiefs fan, I was glad when I saw they decided to kick it through the end zone and give Mahomes the full 13 seconds. Still was a longshot but preferable to relying on a kick return.

Even if the Chiefs got a good return or it rolls OB it kills time of clock. Probably limits the chiefs to 2 plays

Yep a lot of things can happen on any play. One thing we know for sure is kicking the ball through the end zone didn’t work too well

Totally agree as a Bills fan their DC and special team coach need to be relieved of duties ASAP .. 1st a hard kick down centre of field bouncing to 10-20 yard line was da only play .. it would have used up 3 or 4 seconds to force KC into 1 play and then a filed goal or a hail mary pass .. then line up a NT and 2 backup linebackers/secondary guys on line in 3 point stance .. NT runs into line to occupy 2 or 3 guys .. one breaks off to go 1 on 1 with Kelce and other picks up either Mahomes or back .. that forces Mahomes into a down field throw for 30 yards which is much less likely to be caught in a prevent defense .. even if caught clock may run out before attempt .. again this 13 seconds was worst time and play management in NHL history .. no team should be able to score anything with 13 seconds left .. complete embarrassment for Bills in a game which must be won every single time in that situation
