Do Bills and Steelers win this weekend?

I stopped cheering for American teams years ago but I love seeing teams with the biggest and loudest fan bases lose. Since the Bills don't have much appeal down south outside western New York, go Bills.

Most GTA Steeler fans, like Bruin and Flyer fans, live in a time warp where they believe the 70s never ended. Hope Fat Mahomes and the Chefs put 50 on them.

 I'll see if I can find an updated one.

Better?

lol...nicely done.

I'm a Titans fan, so gotta wait till next week. Been rooting for them since they were the Houston Oilers with Earl Campbell.

How did you become a Chiefs fan? Can't say I've ever heard of any around here, minus the Mahomes bandwagon guys.

Very randomly. My older brother was into the NFL and so I wanted to be too. We used to bet each other on the outcomes of the games. I was probably about 10.

Anyway, one week we forgot to make our picks by gametime and I was able to catch the scores on the news a few minutes after kickoff without my brother realizing. Most of the games were scoreless but that week the Chiefs had somehow jumped out to a really quick 14-0 lead. I bet on them and won and from them on felt an affinity for them.

That was the Marty Schottenheimer era and just a year or two before they acquired Joe Montana. Was a pretty fun era and I've been a fan ever since. Seeing them win the Super Bowl was a huge moment for me after years of heartbreak (including a loss to the Marv Levy Bills in one of their Super Bowl run years).

 That’s awesome

Lets go Cowboys.!!!

My only sports fanhood that outdates my Cowboys is my Leafs as it dates back to the original triplets.

My father-in-law is a big Bills fan, and I've been a Steelers fan since before any of their Superbowl wins.

As long as they don't meet in the AFC championship, we're good.

So I had to pick both to win.

That Bills game was something.

Every drive ending in a touchdown 7 times in a row.

Pretty impressive to do that against Bill Belichick no less.

Pats D was leaky.

Are you sure they simply weren't frozen in place at times?

Buffalo in January, in those temperatures that was a clinic Josh Allen and his teammates put on and sent the message that they're Super Bowl contenders.

They were struggling a little down the stretch, but this was a masterpiece.

Bills at KC next week is going to be a great matchup. Prefer to watch the Steelers in Tennessee but I’m realistic. I’m sure all Bill fans will be cheering on the Steelers today though. They’d have to like their chances at home against the Bungles.

My Brother is diehard Steelers fan dating back to the Terry Bradsaw days, so I always watch and then cheer them on for moral family support, and my team is the Cowboys so this is going to be a stressful day.

KC is so ominous (likely the Superbowl favourites), that I pity any team that has to face them, as I don't like Steelers chances in this one. Najee better run the air out of the ball, and keep Mahomes off the field as much as possible on long time consuming 10-15 play scoring drives and TJ Watt better keep his sac streak churning and cause havoc in that KC backfield and we need Minkah Fitzpatrick and Steelers defensive buddies to generate some turnovers in this one to end Chiefs drives. Unfortunately on paper this is probably the biggest mismatch of the weekend but you never know. Good luck to Steelers fans !!!

Even with my Cowboys vaulted offense I'm not feeling all that confident against the 49ers in the middle game today. I don't have a good feeling in this one as its not that great a match-up either as San Fran running game is going to be a real problem I fear.

In the morning its just going to fun to cheer for a Tom Brady upset to happen, even though its not going to be easy cheering for arch rival Eagles.

My predictions are Tampa Bay, San Fransisco and KC to advance but I'm cheering for the exact opposite.

PS. Glad my Leafs won last night as I'm in a better mood going in, but I not feeling happy endings are going to be my Sunday outcome.

Pretty good analysis. Agreed, Steelers only chance is if Harris and Watt take over the game.

My predictions are the same as yours. I'll be cheering San Fran to beat your Cowboys though :thumbu:
