Both have been playing great.

Christian Folin has really surprised me ; he's quietly a very good defensemen. Definitely the more physical of the two.

Oscar has also been solid, his shot actually makes it to the net which is refreshing.

Fantenberg always shoots and his shit is always on net which is scary. He has a good shot. He will start burying his chances.

dude has an absolute cannon, puck flies off the stick

imo they've quietly been a very solid pairing which is a great thing given how new they are to the system. hard to ask for offense from your 3rd pairing. pleasantly surprised.

Something else about these two: they fit in just about everywhere they put them. As lines get juggled they are quietly effective.

They make mistakes, sure. But not over and over.

Folin has been physical. He willingly fought Martin last night. Almost even started it. Fantenberg has had a rough couple games though. Both played their season lows in minutes and shifts in the last 2 road games. Understandable, but Fantenberg didn't even break 10 minutes in Columbus.

Fantenberg has a hard shot but can't hit the net to save his life. Kings D should only use wristers.

Fantenberg is overrated on here at the moment but hopefully he continues to get acclimated. This road trip is exposing him.

Good story about Oscar Fantenberg the free-agent defender Los Angeles brought over from Sweden. When he visited the Kings last season, they wanted to hide him so no other teams would know. Unfortunately, they sat him near play-by-play voice Bob Miller, who was shown on-camera. Suffice it to say, the secret was out. As other NHL clubs vultured in, the Kings were able to hold on and sign him.
