Well deserved, hopefully he will have a positive impact and when Buch and Zucc come back McLeod will be scratched.
 
I think it's good for morale among the young players to know a couple things. First, that they'll get a shot. Second, even if they don't stick, they'll get another shot. If Vinni needs more time, take more time. In the mean time it's good to give another kid a kick at it, especially at 25 yrs old where you're at the age where you need to figure out if hockey is your life or if youre going to go get a day job. I'm sure a guy who's never really gotten a shot will welcome even a few games in the big show with the big show paycheck for a change.

Fogarty being called up oculd be a good sign for Lias. I expect Fogarty to center the 4th line and there's no way Lias will be a winger on the 4th line. I expect him to either move to the wing in the top-9 or center the 3rd line.
 
Well deserved, he had a good start to the season in Hartford. Now they should waive Mcleod and call up Belesky, the 4th line would actually be respectable

I don't see Lias playing center any time soon, if we trade Hayes I think Chytil will get a shot first, but Lias should get Strome's spot.

That would work.

Kreider-Hayes-Chytil
Namestnikov-Zibanejad-Fast
Vesey-Howden-Lias
McLeod-Fogarty-Strome

And McLeod can finally come out of the line-up when Zuccarello or Buchnevich is back!

That would work indeed. I would put Lias in place of Fast on the 2nd line, trying to get some chemistry with Mika back from the world championship, and , as a bonus, would reunite Vesey- Howden- Fast line that has been efficient this season.
Things will get interested when both Buch and Zucc get back, do we scratch Strome or send Lias down?

That would work. Zib and Lias played well together in the EHT as well
