Flyers 2017 Training Camp Discussion Thread

I'd just call it a symptom of the depth level we're hitting. There are several NHL positions up for grabs this season and it'll take the entire staff's attention to get that done alone. Draft positions aside, the ones who were sent down are all multiple well defined steps away, while the pro aged players will get more specific ideas of what they need to work on to make the next jump.

There is a logjam of veteran forwards in camp too so im not surprised the 17 draftees were sent back already.

Yeah, they still have 32 forwards which should be plenty to cover the split squad games on Wednesday. Hulak is not on this list so I guess his camp is over, too.

He's at Western Michigan University. College kids can pay their own way to attend development camp in the summer, but they don't go to training camp.

He might be in class reading this thread on his laptop right now.

He is in college at WMU, starting 2nd season soon (like 2 weeks). Can't be at camp as he would lose his NCAA eligibility.

He may well turn pro next year though.
