We won opening night against the Leafs only because Montembeault stopped it from being 10-1 for Toronto, and our other win was another Montembeault shutout against the Oilers.

What can I say, we played well and then suddenly we couldn't finish and then look out the other team is finishing. Obviously things got out of control near the end but this is the kind of game that we've seen before we can't close out games and we need to be better.

Laine obviously had a hard time tonight with the conditioning we're just going to have to wait that out but either way before the meltdown the team was going hard and there were some really good chances that obviously just were not finished. The team is changing and I think we're seeing the parts that don't fit stick out more because of that which is good.
