Insane how arguably the best forward on this team last year has fallen so quickly to the worst this season.
I mean it happens. Any step back will look bad when you are that age and in such a competitive league. I think he just isn't the player he was when he got here. All the more reason I wish we'd been more aggressive in moving him if it was possible (which tbf we don't know if it was, but frankly it all goes back to signing him to awful term to begin with).

Only thing I have to say at this moment is we really need to mix up these forward lines. They are generating next to nothing. Detroit game, nothing, this game, nothing.
If Huberdeau is a playmaker, and Kuzmenko is a goal scorer, well, why not give that a shot?
Youth line could be nice. Zary with Popsicle and Coronato.
Or, we can just stick to this and generate nothing. I guess that's why I'm not an NHL coach.
They've tried every Huberdeau combo ever. I don't think they'd work because neither of them can skate the puck up all that well. At some point, you just have to accept that a high-maintenance player is just that and try to make due with the best of imperfection because nobody plays well with them.

One thing Wolf needs to work on is his MA Fleury tendencies to sometimes overplay the puck quite badly. I'll take those kinds of goals against for him though because it should be an easy thing to coach out of his game and for him to learn from. The goals against I get worried about is when he is just beaten clean like the first goal (2nd was an odd man break, shots going in don't concern be there).

Just hearing Gaudreau's name brings tears.

That's just the better half :naughty:

Had to spent a lot to fill the collection, but luckily I have to do that every 2 or 3 years only. Just finished a Macallan 15 yo bottle last weekend that I bought 2021 I think.

Well... interesting. I looked up a spirit with a 13 reference and expected to pick up a 13yr Craigellachie or Johnnie Walker red... but I randomly stumbled upon something more interesting that didn't show up in my liquor app search.

No dice on bottle number 1321 or 2113 for the bottle number (No way I'm that lucky). But I think I got the next best option.

EDIT: In case anyone is interested, I picked it up at Wine and Beyond and it's discounted. So for $42, it seems like a solid option (I think it's $60 normally).

I think I need to go with a glass of 10 yo Eagle rare bourbon and a glass of 16yo Lagavuling for that double 13yo

This is over. Kinda disappointing when you know that we won't win unless the goalies are perfect.

Game hasn't even started. The Flames the past two years think games start in the 3rd period. Need to get those comebacks and ruin the tank for Misa.
