can floridas management stop being the best in the nhl for just a minute
Florida killed it this offseason, but IMO they had to. The Bolland contact hurts, and Lou's contract isn't going to look pretty heavy in a few years time. I think they're banking on Reimer to cement himself as a #1 goalie when Lou retires.

Ye look at their contracts. Only one bad contract and thats Bolland and thats done in 3 seasons and he is injuried all the time so wouldnt be a surprise if he is turns into a 2 or 3 years LTIR guy.
All other contracts are very good for them. Yandle is high but he has earned it and puckmoving, great skating defensemen usually hold the level into their mid 30s. Dont think thats a bad contract at all either. Loved him in NYR and could never understand why he didnt get more defensive sone starts. He is great at breaking out of the sone, the odd horrible turnover but thats what you get with puckmoving defensemen. Have a great young core and many good veterans who still are very productive and good twoway players. They are really building a team the perfect way thru the draft and adding solid experienced players without overpaying.
reminds me of tyler johnson's 4m aav which is coming to an end. This is 6 years
