He's not going to be some world-beater, but he is pretty solid as a defensive player now. Good to see him get a shot.

Solid low risk #6, and an actual lefty for our bottom pair.

Carlsson and Juolevi go to Charlotte.
Neither are waivers exempt, and we would only need to send one of them down anyway.
Juolevi would be the obvious one because while he has looked fine, Carlsson has been very good on the bottom pair.

agreed, would much rather have Carlsson available should someone (God forbid) go down.

They could also just send Mamin down who is waiver exempt if they dont want to risk losing any of them

Since he needs to clear waivers it will be interesting to see if he gets by Arizona/Seattle/Montreal/Buffalo

Why does he need to clear waivers, that makes no sense. Was he not free to sign with all 31 other teams in the league?

Signing guys who aren't on your team's reserve list have to clear waivers after a certain point in the season.

Who is first on the waivers list? Gotta think Florida spoke to Arizona and agreed to give them a conditional 7th or something to claim him before anyone else could.

Arizona can't claim him and trade him to Florida right after.

I think if anything Montreal needs to clear space on the left side not bring in another guy, they have a couple guys knocking on the door and one more if Harris signs. Maybe since they're likely to move both Chiarot and Kulak but I'd be surprised

I can see Calgary or some other team taking Lindbohm at 750k.
Even if the reasoning is simply, "keep another decent asset away from Florida."

They might but they risk ticking off Marcus Lehto who is a pretty prominent Finnish agent and the agency Wasserman
