If you need a goalie coach to teach you things like don’t slide 6ft out of your crease or don’t send rebounds directly into the slot to an opposing player or to hug your post; you’re an idiot and a shit goalie. Two things that Mrazek seems to be and one which Campbell is becoming.

It’s not the f***ing goalie coach people give me a break lol.
How about a decade plus track record of .910 goaltending for mrazek? That doesn’t just go away changing teams

Honestly I am surprised this isn't getting more traction anywhere else. As for replacements, why not contact Stephane Waite? That dude has a ton of experience and coaches two different goalies to a Stanley Cup. He can't be any worse can he? And it costs nothing but money, which the Leafs have in droves

Toxicity? LOL. Its clear most people who are this easily offended by words have never actually seen real hardship or conflict in their lives.
i agree with this in principle but hate speech is not something the leafs should or do endorse. The Imloo guy has got to use his head here. Can’t be saying that shit in 202X

... so he liked mean tweets. Who cares?

Ask Campbell if Imoo is a bad guy, you know, someone who's worked with and knows the guy personally. I'd take his opinion over some jackass on the internet
Get over your self. The guy Imoo is not fit to coach anyone. He is a waste of skin

Not sure if Briere is pushing for it, but that stance where they are leaning on the post with one leg down leaving a gap above the pad is just horrible - both goalies have been victimized by weak shots from the goal line because of it.

It was enough in the case of Reimer. I remember in his first game he stood on his feet like the whole game and just kept blocking everything. Think he shut out that game, too, and was lights out for the first little while.

It was not long after that he was flopping and flailing like everyone else we've ever gotten. Clearly something happened there.

May have been Rick St. Croix. Bernier mentioned he didn’t even learn the Reverse VH until he left Toronto cause we would never do that kind of technical stuff with the Leafs.

I’m on board with firing Briere if he’s a legitimate issue and I guess only the Leafs brass actually know that, but I have a hard time blaming him for Campbell’s implosion in play quality when Jack played perfectly well for a year and a half after he arrived under that same goalie coach

It's not just Campbell tho. Andersen fell off after 2ish years too. Mrazek is playing the worst hockey of his career

The Leafs have changed just about every coach under the sun over the last couple years... except Briere.

It's probably time to change that too.

That is pretty strange. The one position that is consistently inconsistent has undergone no coaching change. Even the frickin' defense has improved.

Leftover good technique from his time in LA?

Allaire was the goalie coach when Reimer was here. Reimer always had a flawed technique. He's a strictly blocking style goalie.

When he first came up with us, he played somewhat deeper in his crease, which was beneficial to his style because when you give up the rebounds that he does, he didn't have as much distance to make up when having to make secondary saves. Allaire started messing with his game and had him playing further out which resulted in him not being able to recover for rebounds. I think teams also started to get the book on him in that he had a weak glove hand and five hole

It is called rvh and it is a very necessary position but the goalies are not executing it properly. There should be no hole. This is why I keep bringing up attention to detail and I question Briere.
