why would they ever consider going back to a combo that has worked in the past...we can't afford to slot out some of these fourth liners that are 'hard to play against'...they're so hard to play against that other teams target those lines

We give up a billion chances against, suck at transition both ways but especially defensively, and can't seem to establish any forecheck or offensive zone time.... But somehow Strome should be the unmistakeable answer even a blind man could see?

Ok.

Ok.
Adding a soft, slow, one-dimensional forward to this group right now is not the answer. The fact Musto thinks it is the answer speaks volumes about his hockey knowledge.

The 25 people who voted “no” should be gathered up and flayed alive as punishment. Along with JC while we’re at it.

Strategies to save his job:

1.Start game with penalty...Killin off...gain momentum

2.After kill off penalty, pull our goalie to pkay 6 on5..sonehowvwe excel at 6 on 5 and protect our open net as the puck stays in the opps zone ..

3.Benxh Toews Kanexand Jones ...

Miraculously these strategies will produce a "Team " win for the Hawks..

Short time last season we had defensive structure. Toews was out.

This season we again have no structure. Toews is in.

Which is appropriate. This org is insufferable.

Where is this new narrative coming from? I see others are posting this too.

We are still one of the model and most accomplished orgs this decade, one that everyone respects and revers around the world even (ie. Reichel).

We need a coach change if things don't turn around and possibly our GM's expiration date could be coming to end (that's debatable), all normal things in the life of a sports team. But insufferable org?

Nonsense. Look around the other orgs for perspective of what could be.

LOL, we did?

Last year after 3 games we were
2nd last in Corsi
Last in xGF%
Last in High Danger chances for %

This year we are
5th last in Corsi
2nd last in xGF%
3rd last in HDCF%

There is only one constant from last year, to this year, and that's the boob behind the bench.

I know you're serious but do you really think that?
What model?
Is it the great fans who fill the stadium despite the losing team? History tells us that that won't last.
Is it the hesitation to make FO changes?
Is it the way they develop the kids?
Is it the high salaries and NM clauses gifted to too many players?
Is it the ridiculously high prices of seats?

I'll give them one thing: The marketing strategy has worked quite well based on your viewpoint.

We should totally be more like the Leafs.

Think the way they rebuilt is a model the Hawks can and should've used given the fanbase was ready for it and the revenue would've more or less still been there as far as Rocky is concerned...Toronto drafted top 10 a few years and hit on some elite forwards, added Tavares and they were a pretty good team. Obviously that would require the Hawks to clean house including development staff and scouting and get new people in the org that can actually draft and develop but its probably the way back to being a true contender...

Ya, they should have never traded for Seth Jones, 100%. But the Leafs haven't accomplished anything in 57 years? lol

I'm talking about the way they ran org after Burke was fired who kind of did a similar thing as Bowman by trading multiple picks for Phil Kessel, they built a very good club in 4-5 years, Hawks are year 3 into a retool with no clear end in sight

So if we lose by 3 or 4 again tonight, what’s it going to take to get this buffoon out of here
