telkku.com and whatnot react poorly to quick programming changes. Always use broadcaster's own online program guide in these cases.

****.. telkku has always been the holy bible of tv to me.. turns out its not perfect.

Business opening for some one capable of being more dynamic!

I use it too but for live programming or live programming changes they sometimes screw up. So in those cases I just check YLE's/MTV3's websites.

Yay! Relegation hockey time!

Im so disappointed with our squad, our coach is pretty garbage this tourney and he probably cost us the game vs Slovakia imo.

They did earlier report that he indeed had to rely on the help of the Montreal Canadiens organization, but this was a totally new layer to the shenanigans.

I feel like finnish don cherry, but id take any mestis player over any NA junior league guy to these teams, unless theyre stars like tolvanen.

Even if Canada, by rights, winds up in a different group then Yanks, they'll get switched to same pool cause they have a big outdoor game planned on NYE Canada vs USA, so the potential ( with Suomi slated to finish 9th and with Canada slated to play in same pool as Yanks come what may ) for a so-called Group of Death is greater than ever...

Yawn....it just means Canada almost certainly gets a comparatively easy QF opponent...

NO BIG DEAL...
I had no idea about that outdoor game plan... not sure if it should be in World Championships and I really dislike throwing teams into other group just because show. They should be decided by the previous results and that's it.

That this is would be the first time. In men's tournmaent teams have sometimes (I remembet at least one case) swapped groups just to get better attendance (city geographically closer to a neighboring country).

Actually I think that outdoor event idea isn't technically a first either (in IIHF): one game in men's championships was played in a Germany in a soccer arena, but it had a roof so I guess it didn't get counted as an outdoor game per se.

They clear the puck to the center line and 4 players rush for a change? Amazing decision making..

Taking easy shots at first opportunity won't get us far either. We've had decent SOG throughout the tournament, however backhand shots from the blue line don't really produce goals.

That strch pass reminded me of pula aho few min ago. Only differen ce was it ended to latvians stick in our slot :sarcasm:

Vehviläinen looks awful. Hard to think that we don't have anybody better at the moment.

The high quality scoring chances have been surprisingly even so far.

Finland could easily loose this one.

Whoah Mittens. :handclap:

A back-foot save.

21 shots for the Finns in the first and just one goal to show for it. This is the most snake bitten team I have ever seen.
