Monday will be my 7th and final Kings game of the season (unless we end up with the B's in the Final) and I can say from a personal standpoint it has been the most fun I have had as a Kings fan in many years.

@NYI
@NJ
@NYR
@BOS
@ANA
vs ANA @ Dodger Stadium
@PHI

7 games, 7 different arenas* Currently at 3-3; this game will decide it :)

Thinking of the Midwest next year, it all depends on the schedule.

Very cool. I hope to someday be able to follow the team on a road trip. Maybe I can do the southwest to California and on up to Canada someday.

Nice man. I'll be at the Kings/Caps game on Tuesday. Too bad your trip ends in Philly. :(

Hopefully they won't be too tired in the b2b. Win/Win baby!

When I planned Philly I forgot all about tagging DC on to it, but with the snow on the way late Tuesday I'm glad I didn't.

For the record, Wells Fargo Center is the 4th new rink for me this year #Pru #NassauCounty #MSG

Sounds awesome! In a parallel universe, I would have been on an East Coast sports trip last week. Right now I have one planned for late June where I'd see baseball games in Chicago/Pittsburgh/Philadelphia and end up at the NHL Draft in Philly.

Not sure if you're into college/junior hockey at all, but I had a ton of fun about 18 months ago when I visited my friend in Ann Arbor. I was able to attend a University of Michigan hockey and football game. I was also able to squeeze in a junior game in nearby Plymouth which featured a bunch of first round prospects. I forgot that the US Development team is based in Ann Arbor. Unbeknownst to me, there was an under-18 tournament with USA/Sweden/Finland/Switzerland that week too.

I had an idea for a few weeks ago where I would have seen Devils@Red Wings, Team USA (featuring Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin as possible top 5 picks in 2015, along with a bunch of other 2014 draft eligibles), Connor McDavid (current frontrunner for 2015), and a Minnesota/Michigan college hockey game within one week.

That would be fun. I wish Junior Hockey was a little closer because I think it would be cool to see some of these top kids play. I had a contact who used to get me Boston College tickets and I got to see a few good players come through there... I know that in the last one I went to Corey Schneider was in net for BC :) Saw Brian Gionta a few times as well.

My old college roommate is about to finish grad school and I'm selfishly hoping he lands a job in Boston so that I have a place to crash for free. I'd like to see a BC/BU game, especially with Jack Eichel currently slated to join BC.

This year, I did the Dodger/Yankee Stadium games on back-to-back days. Sadly the game tickets cost more than the plane tickets. I was hanging outside the Fox Sports One makeshift studio in Times Square the next day and had a conversation with this couple that had flown in for the Stadium Series from Scotland. The guy then told me that they had gone to the World Juniors in Sweden a few weeks before that. On top of that, they were planning on going to Toronto/Montreal for the WJCs next year.

Today I saw an article about Plymouth potentially relocating in the near future. So I might have to do that Ann Arbor/Detroit trip next season (especially before my other friend graduates and I lose my free housing).

Next season I hope to make an East Coast swing and maybe do Montreal, Boston and Manchester. I definitely will be doing a quasi-major international event with World Junior A Challenge in Kindersley, SK. I also figure I'll head to Rexall for my semi-annual Kings/Oilers game.

If you're looking for a good road trip for hockey take the Trans-Canada through the Prairies. Start in Winnipeg with the Jets, then to Portage La Prairie for the MJHL's Terriers, then to Brandon for the WHL's Wheat Kings, to Regina for the WHL's Pats and/or CIS Cougars, to Moose Jaw for the WHL's Warriors, to Swift Current for the WHL's Broncos, to Medicine Hat for the WHL's Tigers, to Brooks for the AJHL's Bandits and end at Calgary for the Flames.
